Meshack Mavuso, best known for playing Dr Thabo Dlamini on Durban Gen, gave fans a peek into his role as the show’s director in a recent Instagram post. He was revealed to be more than just an actor on the show a few months ago, and since Mzansi had not seen him in action, he decided to show his fans.
Meshack was directing the gender-based storyline currently playing on Durban Gen as he posted himself. Dr Thabo Dlamini is depicted as the director of the video, commanding everyone around, ensuring that everything goes according to plan, and interacting with a few actors who play critical roles in this crucial plot. Mavuso revealed that he is grateful for the trust placed in him to handle the complex storyline on gender-based violence, which is still a problem in this nation. As a man with a wife and children, he revealed that he advises women to leave as soon as they notice warning signs and reassures them that it’s not their fault.
A few months ago, Meshack Mavuso announced on Instagram that he had taken over as the show’s director of the well-liked etv medical drama. He expressed gratitude to Stained Glass and Durban Gen for giving him the opportunity and weighty responsibility. He included some images of himself working behind the scenes in his post. Meshack continued by saying his desire for the recently deceased Patrick Shai to be present to see this significant moment in his career.
The South African actor and director Mavuso is best known for his work on the show Durban Gen and others. Mavuso played Vusi Moletsane in the late 1990s film Isidingo, which served as his debut lead role. He was given the role of Jabulani Nyembe in Yizo Yizo the following year.
