‘Till We Meet Again,’ Thandeka Dawn King exits DiepCity, rumoured to be returning to Uzalo. Dawn Thandeka King is the latest actress jumping off the ship of DiepCity. She has been trending late after she dumped DiepCity in the eleventh hour. Mzansi was more than puzzled after MaShenge bowed out of the drama series. Thandeka Dawn King starred as MaShenge. She kissed her on-screen character after her two-year stay on the series.

She was cast into the series in 2021 after she exited from Mzansi’s most-watched drama series Uzalo. In the backdrop of her debut, she sustained a severe knee injury on set, which saw her disappearing for a while. She bounced back in 2022, and barely a few months after her return, she announced her exit from the show. Reports have it that she has already left the set.

The actress is set to star in the upcoming highly anticipated Shaka Ilembe. Thandeke will portray the role of Shaka Zulu’s aunt Mkabayi kaJama in the drama series, who is known to be one of the most muscular women of that era. The news was confirmed by producer Bongumusa Zungu who told Daily Sun that they needed a woman of Dawn’s strength to join the series. Some sources say that she might be returning to Uzalo since her return was once mentioned when she exited the show.
