DeipCity actress Mashenge ‘Dawn Thandeka King’ trends after her age was revealed. Her unmatched acting flair on small screens has been topping trends late. Well, in the mix of things, she has fast become one of Mzansis finest. We can all agree that she is that star actress we all love to hate, and her acting flair has left a lot to be desired on small screens.

Best known for her on-screen character in the female cast drama Lockdown, the bubbly actress has fast become one of Mzansi’s finest. Her unmatched talent has seen her winning big when accolades and securing the bag. However, in the wake of her Lockdown gig, she won significant from starring in Mzansi’s most-watched drama series Uzalo to Diep City.

In the SABC1 drama series, Dawn Thandeka King played the might MaNgcobo. She was cast as Nkunzi’s wife. However, despite being the face of the drama series, she dumped the show in the eleventh hour.

DeipCity actress Mashenge ‘Dawn Thandeka King’s age leaves Mzansi puzzled

Little is known even up to now regarding the reasons behind her exit. However, the rumour mill has it that the actress had a fallout with showrunners after some salary woes. Her exit marked the mass exodus of the seasoned cast. In the wake of her exit, she joined the Mzansi Magic’s drama series Diep City. In the drama series, she stars as Mashenge. Unlike Uzalo, who plays the might feared character in Diep City, she stars as a domestic worker.

Bonga and Mashenge have two troublesome daughters, Nox (Nozuko Ncayiyane) and Lungile (Luyanda Shezi). She also happens to be a wife to Bonga, played by Hamilton Dlamini. She stars alongside Mzansi’s most celebrated villain Mduduzi Mabaso who stars as Bra Elliot. Mabaso is best known for his Rhythm City character as Suffocate Ndlovu.

However, of interest is that she was a tourism consultant before her thrust into the limelight. In 2012 she rediscovered her craze for acting and starred in the Mzansi Magic telenovela Inkaba. Dawn Thandeka King is younger than we thought, given the on-screen roles she plays. She was born on 1 October 1977, in Eshowe, KwaZulu-Natal. The 45-years-old is a mother of five and was recently rumoured to be pregnant, but she rubbished the rumours.
