Bonko Khoza has been making all sorts of headlines ever since he landed his role on The Wife. The actor did not only imitate Mqhele, but he embodied the character to the dot. He is that character that most fans would love to hate and sometimes forget to separate between the on-screen character and the actor. After the show’s first season came to an end yesterday, Bonko Khoza pens a heartfelt message to his fans.
Bonko Cosmo Khoza took to Twitter to show his fans gratitude for letting him show his talent on their screens. He says that he feels he was born to do this acting job in his post. He goes on to thank people for letting a ‘coconut from the south’ as he calls himself to be a Zulu from Bree. However, he states that the journey is far from over as season two is coming soon, except it will focus more on Nkosana and Zandile’s love story.
His fans and fans of the show applauded his acting skills, saying that he embodied his character. Some were questioning if he likes ice cream or it’s just his character. Other fans of the show commented on how even his facial expressions made him look like he lived and breathed the Mqhele character.

The actor went on further in another tweet he attached; he went on to tell his fans to watch him in the new drama series that is starting on Sunday. In this drama series called 13 Weeks to Find Mr Right, he will be taking on the role of Zakhele.In the series, he will take on the part of a journalist seeking love through her column’s love interest. Bonko will be playing his role opposite Kea Zawadi, who plays the journalist.
