The Queen and Uzalo are among the most watched drama series in Mzansi due to their unique storylines and actors. Many would have wondered how much their favourite actors are getting paid for them to keep Mzansi entertained. Here is a sneak peek at how much different productions pay for supporting actresses.

Sis Patty and MaMadlala portray the role of gossip mongers who are continuously circulating rumours in the community. Their roles are comic, and they have a charming way of keeping Mzansi giggling each time they are on the screens. On set, the two actors play a significant role in divulging personal information about others, making Mzansi curious about how much these actresses earn to nail their roles effortlessly.

Salaries of  Sis Patty and MaMadlala

Actress Ntombifuthi Dlamini plays the role of Madlala, a scandalmonger on Uzalo. She is a single mother with solid Christian values; however, she has an appetite for young and dynamic boys and grabs every chance to court attention. She is best friends with MaDongwe (played by Zama Magubane). The two personalities don’t know how to mind their own businesses; they are always poking their noses in people’s businesses.

Over the storyline of Uzalo, MaMadlala dated a young man Khela who was desperate for shelter as his parents had disowned him. Khela, aka King K, took advantage of Madlala’s loneliness and despair for affection to suck her pockets dry. She has also flirted with different guys and recently lost herself in the hands of a young and handsome Nomgaca. For her role on Uzalo, MaMadlala is being paid around R30 000 and R45 000 per month.

On the other hand, Thembsie Matu plays the role of Sis Patty in The Queen. Sis Patty is a family woman and co-owner of a growing restaurant Kwa Patty. She is the pivot of all gossip in Thembisa and is linked between the middle-low and wealthy classes. She is currently stealing the show The Queen with her love for gossip and slaying her role to perfection. For her role on The Queen, Sis Patty is taking home a salary of  R55 000 per month.
