Just in: South African Rapper AKA shot dead in Durban Florida Road
South African rapper, AKA known as Kiernan Forbes, was shot dead in Durban Florida Road. Another person believed to be AKA’s bodyguard was also wounded, while another unidentified person, understood to be a close friend of AKA, was shot dead.
According to social media reports AKA was due to perform at Durban nightclub YUGO where he was expected to perform as part of his birthday celebrations. The sad development came to light after a Twitterati @LuSomethings took to Twitter with a video alleging that AKA, (Keirnan Forbes) had been gunned down.

Speaking to news reporters, stunned patrons at a nearby restaurant said AKA had been standing outside Wish when he was gunned down.
Garrith Jamieson, a spokesperson for ALS Paramedics, said Florida Road had been closed off after the shooting incident Florida Road where two people have been confirmed deceased
It remains unclear what the motive for the shooting was. SAPS and Metro were on the scene and closed the road to assist with the investigation.
The news of AKA passing took social media by storm and South African celebrities are still in denial that their goat is no more.
