Lehasa couldn’t face the music after a damning testimony from a hospital security guard and fakes an anxiety attack. The security guard is the one whose uniform Lehasa borrowed on the night of Fanie’s murder. Lehasa disguised himself as a security guard and went into Fanie’s ward, where he administered a lethal injection into Maserumule’s IV drip.

Fanie had been in the hospital recovering from gunshot wounds from a hit that Lehasa ordered. Fanie was supposed to die in that incident, but he survived, so Lehasa finished him off.

Maserumule was the IT go-to guy for Maphosa for years. They made a great team, but things changed when Fanie started to threaten Lehasa and demanded a majority of the shares in Café Rovuwa. Lehasa found out that Fanie had been selling illegal abalone in Rovuwa after hours for months with the help of chef Kgosi and Eunice.

He fired the three, but while the disciplinary hearing was still in process, things went to hell. Fanie got shot along with Kgosi, and then he ended up dead. The testimony given by the security guard is all the testing needed to put Lehasa away for years because that security guard murdered Fanie and the CCTV footage is also there to show it.

The only problem is that it isn’t apparent that the man wearing the uniform is indeed Maphosa since he hid his face under a cap and ensured he never looked up for clear face identification. Lehasa knows this, but he also knows that this security guard places him in the hospital on the night of Fanie’s death, and Maphosa has a motive which means it’s more probable that he killed Fanie.

Lehasa fakes anxiety to get away from court

So he did the only thing that a man in his position would do: fake an anxiety attack. Lehasa did it so well that he was taken to the emergency room immediately after calling out Leeto’s name for help. Pretty decided to sit today’s proceedings out, and maybe that also added to Lehasa’s aggravation, and he just wanted the day to end quickly.

Another thing that worries the viewers of Skeem Saam is the 360 turn that Malome Phomolo has made. He is now 100 per cent on Khwezi’s side and hates Pretty. Malome did mention that he will treat Khwezi well until she gives birth because he doesn’t want her to disappear with the Maphosa/Banda heir.
