Hungani and Stephanie Ndlovu have welcomed their first baby together. Stephanie posted, “Mama Getting back into the swing of things wholeheartedly the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do, but I am trying to exercise patience &kindness with myself, being present in every moment on this new journey” on her Instagram account. Her fans went on to congratulate her in response to her post.  Her best friend, Petronella Tshuma, also commented telling Stephanie that she was doing “an amazing” job.

The announcement of the pregnancy was made well over a month ago. Stephanie shared a bible verse that speaks of how God always blesses at the right time. She posted, “And when the time is right, I, The Lord, will make it happen.” Hungani Ndlou captioned his picture with, “God is the ultimate author!”

Earlier miscarriage news

Earlier this year, the couple disclosed that they had suffered a miscarriage. In their news announcement, they wrote, “We had a miscarriage. This was a story we wanted to tell so many times, not for the views or ratings or anything but because so many women and couples go through miscarriages, and it can often feel very lonely because we don’t talk about it enough; it doesn’t matter what stage of pregnancy it may have been, the loss is still felt and deeply so. Our hearts are with all those who have experienced any loss of pregnancy. All our love” Stephanie learned about the miscarriage when she visited the doctor eight weeks after the pregnancy.

Stephanie’s coping mechanism for the loss was, as she called it, “…switching off….” The most traumatic thing to her was the cleaning procedure. She said, “Having done this procedure was more traumatic than finding out about the miscarriage.” She said the procedure was excruciating and would never wish it on her worst enemy. Hungani, on the other hand, said it was “traumatising” for him to watch his wife go through such a painful ordeal. In his word, he felt like he was useless.

Hungani and Stephanie Ndlovu’s marriage

The couple announced their marriage in 2020 on their YouTube channel. The couple opened up about how they once thought of ending their marriage. Talking about their marriage, Hungani said, ‘Though we are celebrating our second anniversary, it hasn’t been without challenges. But because we choose each other every day, even when we feel like giving up, we don’t give up – that’s our encouragement.”

“To each and every single one of you guys, no matter what relationship you’re in, whether it’s romantic or a friendship – if it’s really worth it, keep working at it and treat each other well. Be intentional about how you love the person you claim you love and be kind to one another.”

One experience which has been particularly hard for them is the miscarriage they suffered. At least after having suffered many challenges as a couple, including the miscarriage, they now have something to celebrate. Congratulations to the Ndlovus!
