Actress Sindi Dlathu ‘Lindiwe Dikana’ replaced on The River
Her unmatched acting skills have made her one of the most celebrated star actresses not only in Mzansi but the world at large.
She has been in the game for years and she knows well how to wow Mzansi but it seems as if her heroics at Ther River has come to an end. No doubt Sindi Dlathu who plays the thuggish Lindiwe Dikana is bidding farewell to the drama series anytime soon.
Well to many this is not one of the shockers as it was bound to happen one way or the other. However late last year the seasoned star actress was offered a big-money move by the showrunners to be part of the production team of the drama series.
No doubt fortune favours the bold and Sindi Dlathu big win can attest to that. Little is known if she is just taking a break from acting and switching the floor to directing or what but the current storyline has it that she will be off the hook.

Is Lindiwe Dikana’s run of good luck finally coming to an end on The River 1 Magic? It looks that way as the Khanyisa Diamonds founder has fallen out of favour with her husband and police commissioner Zweli Dikana.
This comes after a series of lies from Sindi Dlathu’s character and what killed off any hope of her and her hubby mending things was her killing of innocent passengers to protect Zweli’s reputation. This was the final straw for their relationship as it’s something his husband can’t look past.

In the teaser for the forthcoming episode, Zweli has brought her new side chick Pearl into his home with Lindiwe and fans are shocked. No woman has ever had the nerve to set foot in Lindiwe’s home, let alone with her husband.
However, rumour has it that this is the much-talked exit of Sindi which is meant to pave her way to directing. No doubt only time will tell. Is Sindi Dlathu Leaving The River? Sindi Dlathu is a celebrated South African award-winning whose career spans decades.

While Sindi Dlathu’s sociopathic character on The River, Lindiwe Dikana, is hard to bond with, many love to hate her. Just like those before her including the likes of Connie Ferguson many might want to see her making waves both on-screen and behind the scenes as a producer.
However, the celebrated actress will be leaving the show, only for her onscreen role as she begins her journey as a producer. A close source did confirm that Dlathu will be joining her employers, Phathu Makwarela and Gwydion Beynon behind the scenes as the show’s producers for the upcoming season.
