Zanda Zakuza flying high with her second album “Khaya Lam”
In the midst of a deadly pandemic and a shacking economy, Zanda Zakuza has given South Africans hope for a brighter future. Translated to english, her album title ‘Khaya Lam‘, means ‘My home’. The title track, Khaya Lam, was produced by the global sensation, Master KG who also features in the song. It is an assurance to South Africans, that there is heaven, a peaceful home with no troubles where the righteous will go.

Khaya Lam is a 14 track album which was released on the 9th of October 2020 by her record label ‘Open Mic Productions’. It has been just a month since the release of the album, but its tracks are already being featured on the Metro FM, Khaya FM and YFM charts. Behind the production of the album are three hottest producers in Mzansi right now, Master KG, Bongo Beats and Zimbabwean born superstar, Mr Brown. The Dragon, Zanda Zakuza’s debut album was titled Synthia: The Journey which was released in 2017. As we head towards the festive season, its not surprising that some of the tracks will turn into christmas anthems.
