ZRP arrests escapee murder suspects
Police in Harare have arrested Kudakwashe Nyashanu. This is after he attacked law enforcers and fled police custody on the 19th of January 2021.
At the time of arrest Kudakwashe was driving a stolen Nissan Caravan which was stolen during a robbery and murder case in Masvingo.
Two other aspects Shepherd Chinhara and Edson Dhonza were also arrested. These arrests led to the recovery of various property stolen in Masvingo. The suspects will appear in court very soon.
During the lock down in Zimbabwe, crimes seem to be increasing. With many playing hide and seek with the police in CBDs looking for ways to make ends meet it is surely a hard time for Zimbabweans. Due to the high the unemployment rate and many working in the informal sector, these are the victims of consequences of the lock down.
Many Zimbabweans are praising the Police force for their work. This is seen in some comments on twitter. Some of the comments say,
“No space for these animals, the law is not blind. Who tempers with the law should be punished.”
“Good work guys, now can you please investigate all those police officers at roadblocks and all those corruption cases.”
“Good work boys!! Tinopesana pakurova opposition and arresting them.”
The Zimbabwe Republic Police goes on to advise the public to adore the rule of law and refrain from disturbing the law enforcement affixes on their constitutional mandate.
