Wedding Pictures: Mqhele from The Wife is married to Lindiwe from Isono
Bonko Khoza, who plays the role of Mqhele Zulu on Showmax drama series Hlomu – The Wife, is married to Lesogo Khoza nee Chabedi, who played the role of Lindiwe on Netflix series Isono. On The Wife, Mqhele is part of the notorious eight Zulu boys who are into crime and taxi businesses. Led by their eldest brother Nkosana (Mondli Makhoba), the Zulu brothers comprised of Mqhele (Bonko Khoza), Qhawe (Kwenzo Ngcobo), Sambulo ( Sipho Ndlovu), Nqoba (Abdul Khoza), Mqoqi (Thulane Shange), Mpande (Ishmael Songo) and Ntsika (Swelihle Luthuli).
Mqhele fell in love with Hlomu, a journalist at first sight, despite being first seen by his younger brother Qhawe. Hlomu dumped her then-boyfriend Sandile (Kay Sibiya), a medical doctor, to fall in love with Mqhele, a taxi driver.

Despite playing a tough and uncompromising Mqhele character on The Wife, Bonko Khoza is soft-spoken and easy to get along with in real life. He is married to childhood sweetheart and actress Lesego Chabedi, who played the role of mentally unstable Lindiwe on the Netflix drama series Isono.
A couple of creatives has been dating since 2013 during their school days, stood the test of time and tied a knot on 13 March 2021 in a colourful ceremony attended by a handful of close friends and family.

Having discovered his talent at a tender age, Bonko is known for playing the role of Jabz in the cult film Nectie Youth. Both Bonko and wife Lesego hold Degrees in Drama and Film Production; as a couple, they draw inspiration from the Fergusons and aspire to own their production company.
Bonko and Lesego bagged an opportunity to act together as a supporting cast on the Netflix film, How to Ruin Christmas – The Wedding.
