Amanda Du-Pont is alleged to have been neglecting her relationship with her white husband. This follows Entertainment blogger Musa Khawula’s criticism of Amanda on Twitter, which revealed to South Africans that she does nothing but avoid spending time with her husband. The blogger even brought up the race in an attempt to stir up controversy.
Many South Africans agreed with Musa and claimed they had never even laid eyes on Amanda’s white husband; others had been shocked to learn of her marriage. All of these digs at Amanda are directed at her for being known for sharing nearly everything with her followers on social media but not her husband. She is now portrayed as a wife who never seems to have time for her husband and only spends time with her friends. She is hardly seen with him, leading some South Africans to wonder if they are still together. They think they have split up because a married couple can’t spend so little time together in public.
Amanda du Pont and Shawn Rodrigues have been married in secret since 2020. They’ve been dating for a very long time. The couple got engaged in 2019, and it is said Shawn has been a loving and loyal partner to his famous partner. It doesn’t seem like Amanda Du-Pont is neglecting her husband but rather they have a private relationship.
