Somizi launched season 5 of his reality TV show Living The Dream With Somizi. His reality show is available for streaming on Showmax. He shares insightful details of his personal and work life. Typically he would’ve had a glamorous launch with a theme of diamonds and feathers, but he toned it down. He chose a pyjama-themed party to make his guests’ utmost comfort.

Vibrant yet calming decor

Since his launch was pyjama-themed, the venue seats were comfortable sofas. Everyone pretty much felt like they were home watching prime time TV. For that extra Somgaga pizza, he had a big letter #LTDWSOMIZI in the garden. Inside there were a lot of beautiful flowers. There were lit candles inside to make the atmosphere appear relaxed.

A normal white or bright yellow scenery didn’t go well with the theme. Somgaga opted for blue, purple, and pink LED lights for the lighting. As a good host, he availed a bar with a bartender and a snack bar so people could snack on whatever they felt like.

Exclusive guests

As a high roller himself, Somizi mingles with the finest names in the industry. Metro FM presenters Lerato Kganyago and Moshe Ndiki were present. Entrepreneur and reality TV show star Shauwn Mkhize was current. His friends Mihlali Ndamase and Vusi Nova were also there. People who work closely with him, like the celebrity makeup artist Nomsa Madida and his show’s producer Teddy Gerald, showed up.

Entertainment at the after party

As a choreographer and a person who loves the good life and good times, his after-party had to be lit and unique. He had a DJ playing the latest Mzansi hits.

The DJ playing the Sarafina soundtrack Freedom Is Coming Tomorrow was one show stopper. Somizi’s first film debut was in the movie Sarafina when he was still a teenager. Award-winning content creator Banele Ndaba who slays the app Tik Tok shut the showdown with his Sarafina dance moves.

Living The Dream With Somizi Trends

After the first episode of the reality show, it trended throughout Mzansi and became the number 1 trending topic. Many people heard his side of the story regarding the allegations made by his ex-husband Mohale Motaung. For the first time, more people believe Somgaga’s defence.
