The stunning actress, Gugu on Gomora, astounded her fans with her dance moves. It’s uncommon to see the well-known actress dance to Gqom; Velile Makhoba is known for being very big on tradition and is frequently photographed performing traditional dances.
But she demonstrated to her audience that she is more than just a traditional bunny and can dance. She can be seen dancing in the video she posted on her Tik Tok page to a Love Devotion gqom song. She demonstrated to her fans that she doesn’t have a stiff body by performing a few moves while donning a short, black top that heavenly highlighted her figure. Velile disproved the myth that she has two left legs.
When fans see a South African celebrity who can dance, it’s fascinating because many of them can’t dance. Recently, Burna Boy’s hit song Last last was played as Velile Makhoba bid Gomora farewell on her Instagram. At the wedding of Phumlani ‘Buyile Mdladla’ and Thathi ‘Katlego Danke,’ Gugu first joined the cast of Gomora about seven months ago. Gugu did a fantastic job portraying Phumlani’s daughter on Gomora, who stayed with Mam Sonto, played by Connie Chiume, after her father passed away. Gugu won over fans with her fantastic talent on Mzansi Magic, especially as a Gomora High student.
A fan wrote an emotional farewell to Gugu to honour the fantastic work and talent she displayed on Gomora. Gugu finally acknowledged her departure from Gomora despite remaining silent on the subject for weeks as she shared the farewell message on her Instagram story. Gomora’s Gugu was left in tears. Velile was at a loss for words because she only added the emojis “love” and “thank you” to the video, but Burna Boy’s final lyrics did the trick.
Her on-screen exit coincided with negative news as Gugu left Mam Sonto and, in turn, left Gomora. Tears were shed for the Mofele family when she was scheduled to depart for KZN as emotions took over. Sizwe brought a lunchbox so she could eat while travelling, and Sibongile stopped by to wish her a safe journey. Gugu’s absence appeared inevitable, and she confirmed that she was not coming back!
Velile, in contrast to many actors with little talent, possesses a skill outside of acting that supports her. Velile is a well-known dancer and choreographer in real life who is known for her moves. She received most of her training at Phakama Dance Academy and Ekhaya Multi Art Centre. Velile spent her free time on Gomora creating impressive and entertaining dancing clips. Velile will devote her additional time to seriously advancing her career in her other talents.
