Lerato Nxumalo’s acting prowess and flair on both Durban Gen and Lingashoni have won her a place in many South Africans’ hearts. Lerato gained attention after being hired to work as a medical intern at Durban General Hospital alongside Nelisiwe Sibiya and Fanele Ntuli. Many people can identify with her because she has the ideal combination of sweetness and tenacity in her personality.

Her first acting gig was as Dr Luthuli. After that, she was sought after by many showrunners for their projects. Mbali, Zondo, and Luthuli were all first-year interns at the Durban General hospital. She was the quietest person in the group and always made an effort to act morally. To obtain the best surgeries, her friends used dishonest practices and fraud.

Nxumalo said goodbye to the show at the end of the first season while maintaining good relations with the showrunners and concentrating on the other roles. Lerato was the youngest of the group, and because she was only 22 years old, her age made the news. When her salary was revealed last year, she earned about R45 000 monthly. Depending on how many scenes she took.
