Video; Teen Kills Three Chinotimba’s Relatives To Avenge Parents Death
Villagers in Muchini area of Buhera South have been left in a state of shock following the gruesome murder of three senior citizens, with an 18-year old boy confessing to having committed the crime.
The teen was avenging the death of his parents who were murdered 16 years ago. The suspect Anyway Chipinda allegedly struck them on their heads with a stone while they were asleep.
The three senior citizens who are related to prominent Zimbabwean Member Of Parliament Joseph Chinotimba were murdered in cold blood.
The three senior Buhera residents include a 86 year-old man, his 74-year-old wife, and her 80-year-old sister were allegedly murdered at around midnight on Thursday by the teenager from the same village.
The 18-year-old admitted to the killings in his confession.
“I arrived at around 11 pm from a bar intending to kill them because they killed my parents when I was still young.
“I only wanted to kill the man because his wife actually liked me a lot and I do not know why I killed her,” he said.

Close relative to the deceased Buhera South legislator, Cde Joseph Chinotimba said they are yet to come to terms with the loss of three family members.

“We are shocked as a family. We can’t even begin to think of what could have gone wrong to this extent of killing three people.”
Police officer commanding Chipinge District Chief Superintendent Kennedy Nyaumwe confirmed the incident, saying investigations were underway.
“We are currently running some investigations and we are no the right track.”
Rumour has it that the now deceased’s were believed to be behind the death of the teen. The boy is said to have openly poured out his anger about his parent’s death. The news came as shock not only for Buhera South but Zimbabwe at large.
However, the killings come barely a few days after a 22-year-old man killed his nephew. What’s more shocking is that the 22-year-old prepared stew with the head. This murder case is one of the several cases which have been reported since the Tapiwa Makore murder case in Murehwa.
