Kelly’s Struggles and Strength
Kelly has been going through a lot of struggles and stress lately, as she has been under social media scrutiny since the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial began. Senzo was a popular South African soccer player who was shot and killed in 2014 at Kelly’s home. Kelly was his girlfriend at the time, and she has been accused by some people of being involved in his death.
Kelly has denied any wrongdoing and has cooperated with the police investigation. She has also spoken out about how she feels let down by the justice system and how she has received threats and insults from some people.
In an exclusive interview with eNCA, Kelly, who sat alongside her lawyer at the time Magdelene Moonsamy, said she felt let down by the law.
“I think the lowest point for me is being let down by the law. As a SA citizen I trust and believe in the law to protect not just me, but my family and our society. But with what has happened to me, I have had my life threatened and family threatened, not once, but multiple times. And I feel like the law is not coming into place to protect and make me feel that it is within my right to have protection for myself and family,” Kelly said.
Kelly also opened up about her previous marriage on a recent episode of her podcast Dineo on S*x n Stuff. She said that she was married to a man who had been in a thirteen-year-long marriage before. She said that he treated her badly and that she left him after three months.
“I said to him, you put your first wife through thirteen years of misery, and you think I am going to sit and try to measure up to that timeline?
“When I sit in interviews and speak about boundaries that I set in my life, that thing is not a joke. If you violate my boundaries, it means that you think so little of me.”
Despite all the challenges, Kelly has shown remarkable strength and resilience. She has continued to pursue her career as a singer and actress, releasing new music and starring in new shows. She has also found new love with a mystery man, who she has been seen travelling with. She has also maintained her faith in God and her hope for justice.
