Squad Goals Auditions: Submit Applications For New SABC 1 Show
SABC 1 is calling on viewers to submit applications for the second round of auditions for its new show Squad Goals.
Squad Goals production company, Sothar Pictures launched the first round of auditions in September this year. Not much was known about the new reality television series but SABC 1 has revealed what Squad Goals is all about.
Squad Goals are looking for a group of people who are preparing for a big day such as a wedding and are prepared to lose weight for the big day.
Those interested in being part of the show should be between the ages of 18 and 45 and have to submit a 30-second audition tape to Sothar Pictures for a chance to be on the show. Interested viewers can send the audition tapes to [email protected].

It is not clear how many people the show is looking on recruiting for its first season. It however shares a number of similarities with another reality television show, The Biggest Loser South Africa. The show was first aired on eTV in 2008 and is a spinoff of the American show The Biggest Loser.
Last year kykNet launched Afskaal which is a reality series that follows four overweight people on their weight loss journey over 16 weeks. The first season of the show was hosted by Elana Afrika-Bredenkamp.
