Mthembu says South Africa needs vibrators. Minister in Presidency Jackson Mthembu has become a laughing stock for his mistake in a TV interview for a mistake he made.
The Minister might have got himself a brand new nickname ‘vibrator’ to replace his current one Mjekejeke.
The minister was speaking to Newzroom Africa about the current risk based approach that the government of South Africa is taking to get the economy running in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
Mthembu said, “…issues of personal protective equipment that we are rolling out to all out hospitals, including vibrators that we will need for those who need serious attention in our hospitals.”
South Africa Twitter did not forgive the Minister for his mistake. They found a chance to make jokes about the minister with some calling him Minister of Vibration. Some of those who commented on the issue thinks the Minister is tired and needs a break.

What made the minister think of vibrators of all the words remains a mystery.
