Former The Queen actor and musician Sthembiso Khoza showed off his brand new tattoo on his Instagram page. His tattoo looks fantastic and fresh, and it’s two angel wings on his chest. He showed off his ink with a video playing the song Encore by Jay Z in the background.
People get different tattoos for different reasons. An angel wings tattoo symbolizes many things. Some say tattoos like this tell flying away from the shackles that chained you. Some people use it to signify the death of a loved one as it’s a widespread belief that people become angels after passing away. Some believe it symbolizes flying to the highest peak one can reach.
SK Khoza’s caption for his tattoo reveal
Sk captioned the video, “Trust your wings, for men with wings will soar past kings.” Clear and simple, with this particular tattoo, the actor and musician want to take off and fly to new heights. He may want to fly to the top of Mzansi’s music industry.
Perhaps he wants to dominate Mzansi’s music scene. He was recently featured on an afro Soul love track titled Ngiyak’Feela. In the song, he’s singling with Jerome JR and Slim Ego. Ngiyak’Feela is a ghetto afro soul track that has a lot of Mzansi’s people playing the song on repeat. He makes sure to repost clips of people singing the song on his Insta stories.
SK Khoza’s 2021 and 2022
2021 quickly became sour for SK. In mid-November, he was accused of domestic assault by his ex fiancè. With his previous public controversial involvement, he was canned from being a The Queen cast member as his brand was even more tainted. He left the show and announced he’d be pursuing music full time.
After leaving the show, he performed for a large crowd one night and the reception was way more than he anticipated. SK realized he had a huge fan base willing to support his music, and he started recording. He’s previously tried music and it didn’t quite take off. Perhaps he’ll be second time lucky.
