South African TV presenter Minnie Dlamini and her estranged husband Quinton Jones have been making headlines recently. The couple, who separated early last year, are reportedly embroiled in a court battle over spousal support and custody of their child. While public opinion seems to lean towards Quinton, Ntsiki Mazwai, a controversial human rights activist, has criticized him for not being a “man” and relying on Minnie as his provider.

Ntsiki Mazwai also weighed in on the rumors that Minnie Dlamini cheated on Quinton, which allegedly led to their split.

Quinton Jones’ Alleged Demands

Minnie Dlamini, known for her role as a presenter on Soccer Zone, has been a trending topic on social media platform X for several days. This is due to recent reports claiming that Quinton Jones is demanding custody of their 3-year-old son, Netha.

Spousal Support Controversy

In addition to the custody battle, a source close to Minnie has alleged that Quinton is demanding R10 000 in monthly spousal support. According to Zimoja, Minnie is prepared to fight these demands and will not back down easily.

Ntsiki Mazwai has justified Minnie’s behavior amidst these allegations. She suggests that Minnie may have grown tired of being the provider in the marriage. In her words, “Minnie married herself …there was no MAN there ……Minnie was the man. She probably cheated because she was tired of being provider and home maker.”

The situation has sparked various reactions from social media users. In the comment section of Ntsiki’s post, followers shared their thoughts. Some users questioned societal expectations of women, while others defended Quinton’s role in the marriage.
