Richest media personality: Former Idols SA judge Randall Abrahams joins Primedia as CEO, net worth stuns Mzansi

Randall Abrahams is winning big in the wake of his exit from Idols SA. The celebrated judge left Idols SA after the showrunners decided to bring a fresh panellist of judges. No doubt he has gone awol since his exit from Idols SA, and we have all been wondering what he is up to?

It seems as if Randall Abrahams has seen him being appointed as a new CEO. He has been appointed the Chief Executive Officer of Primedia Broadcasting. No doubt he is securing the bag. Premedia owns several big stations, such as 947 and 702 radio stations in Gauteng. It also owns KFM and Cape Talk in Western Cape and nationally EWN outlets.

Randall has been a game-changer of radio stations in Mzansi

He’s thrust into the limelight in the YFM on-air gig’s backdrop. However, he saw himself being promoted to a station manager position in the mix things. Years later, he was appointed National Association Broadcasters chairperson down the line.

Of interest is that he was once offered the opportunity to be part of the World Idol’s judging panellist. During his illustrious career that spans decades, he has been credited for revolutionising SABC stations during his tenure as General Manager. Randall Abrahams’ tenure saw the dominance of Metro FM, 5FM and Good Hope FM from 2003-to 2006. Since then, he has been living the dream.

The 52-year-old media personality was born in Cape Town on 26 July. However, it comes as a shocker that he is 52 years. No doubt he looks more youthful than his age. However, his net worth has been implicated in the equation in the wake of his age. Previously rumour mill had it that he had an estimated net worth of R270 million. His new CEO gig worth a thousand rands has thrust him into the R300 million mark.
