Hope Mbhele shared on her Instagram that today is her birthday as many friends and family wished her a great day. The actress turned 26 years, and she called her 26th year the best one yet in her caption. With the many roles that she has had on Television and how she grew her businesses from a young age, many of her fans assumed she was older. The actress started her hair business when she was only eighteen when other teenagers only thought of school.
Hope became a radio presenter to debut her entertainment career, following in her mother’s footsteps. On the side, she was also selling hair products that she mixed herself, a journey that started when she decided to keep her hair natural. Besides those two hustles, Hope also had a fleet of taxis, something she picked up from her mother. Her mother was a well known Taxi boss in Durban, and growing up, Hope picked up how to run the business and got taxis of her own.
