‘Are you Twins?’ Mzansi awestruck at how much Pearl Modiadie and Lorna Maseko lookalike

From their similar smiles to the same tone of skin complexion, one would confuse these two entertainers. Pearl Modiadie shared pictures of herself with chef/host Lorna Maseko on Instagram, and Mzansi can not get over how the two look strikingly alike. Many of their fans were confused about who was who in the photos.

Recently Lorna Maseko made headlines when she was announced as the presenter of a new cooking show called Homegrown Tastes South Africa. In the backdrop of the announcement, Pearl Modiadie shared that she would join Lorna on the next episode of the show. Modiadie shared several pictures with the Award-winning chef. Her followers can not help but be mesmerized by how much the two resemble each other.

Many fans commented asking if the two are somehow related or even twins. The two presenters had the same smile on that attracted attention to how their facial shapes and even hairstyles shaped their faces similarly. However, Pearl has made it clear that the two are friends and are not related in her post.

About Pearl Modiadie and Lorna Maseko’s careers

Pearl Modiadie made her debut as an entertainer on a kids’ programme on eTV called Crazed Out. She was still a teenager then, and her career as a presenter broke out. She is known for being the presenter on Zaziwa and Expresso. As her brand grew, she branched out by competing in Strictly Come Dancing and later ventured into acting also. She landed a role in Generations and several feature films before her current role in Entangled playing Andiswa.

On the other hand, Lorna Maseko is a professional chef who took her gift to Television. She debuted her entertainment career when she was a guest on Master Chef SA and then went on to host Top Chef SA. She bagged her cooking show The Hostess with Lorna Maseko due to her fame. Lorna has also written a cookbook called Celebrate with Lorna Maseko, winning two Gourmand World Cookbook Awards. Her recent show, however, gets her travelling to different places and cooking with ingredients that are unique to the region that she would have visited.
