He has the plug and the bling too. No doubt he is a  family man after all. Multi-award-winning musician Big Zulu trends after blessing his grandmother with a lavish mansion. He was born on 7 April 1987 in Bergville, KwaZulu Natal. Siyabonga Nene, best known as Big Zulu, won at the  2021’s South African Hip Hop Awards for the Best Male artist.

Big Zulu had a long journey until his breakthrough; he was not successful with school and turned to driving taxes. While in the taxis, he got inspired by Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Phuzekemisi and Imithente. He later joined the entertainment industry, where he earned a breakthrough. Unlike many artists, the Mali Eningi hitmaker did not forget the promises he made to his grandmother back in the roots.

Big Zulu the song is a prayer dedicated to his ancestors, praising them for everything they did for him. Having shot part of the Vuma Dlozi video in Bergville, Big Zulu shows the attachment he has with his village. He fancies that his music is meant for both the rural and urban.

Big Zulu turned his pink promise into reality as he built his grandmother a mansion in the rural areas. Big Zulu does not disappoint on his promises, and this is just one.

A few days ago, he also purchased a million-dollar Ranger Rover. Big Zulu did not only builds his grandmother a house. He announced his Range Rover on Instagram a week before posting the house. Congratulations came from many celebrities, including DJ Zinhle, Anele Zondo, Kid X and Focalistic.
