The second season of this show will be based on the second book of the Hlomu, the wife book series called Zandile the Resolute. The story will be mainly based on the love story of the eldest of the Zulu brothers, Nkosana and his childhood sweetheart Zandile.

Nkosana is played by actor Mondli Makhoba, known for his other role in Umkhokha as Reggie. He will be playing against Khanyisile Mbau, who plays his wife in jail before they broke her out. All the actors showed up at the launch party in their fashionable glory with their respective dates.
