South African Metro FM presenter Pearl Modiadie has revealed that she is pregnant and is expecting first bundle of joy and was tired of keeping it as a secret. Pearl said she has a ‘bun in the oven’ and the child is a creation of an across-racial-lines connection. It is reported that Pearl is at least six months pregnant and the man responsible for her pregnancy is a Frenchman who does his business in South Africa.
Reports that Pearl is expectant was disclosed by two members of her public relations team who spilled the beans. One of the members said Pearl was pregnant and she was so happy since it was her first experience to be expecting a baby. The member said the radio personality has been trying to keep it a secret as per her culture but could not hold it anymore as her bump on her stomach was visible and no longer hideable.
The member added that her boyfriend by now knows the gender of the baby but was not at liberty to reveal the sex at the moment.

The member said Pearl said she wanted a girl while her Frenchman boyfriend wants a boy.
The other member said Pearl’s boyfriend was planning to meet her family and relatives so that he pays the damages as per her traditional custom. “He knows the African culture very well, so he has no qualms with paying damages,” the member said.

Well known for her shrinking violet, Pearl, confirmed that she was heavily pregnant but refused to take the matter up and furnish more details. “Out of respect for my culture, I prefer not to talk about my pregnancy,” Pearl said.
