Madagascar covid-19 cure: The President of Madagascar has launched the coronavirus cure inform of a herbal drink. The herbal tea is reported to have cured two people.
“We have conducted tests and we are happy that two people have so far been cured,” Rajoelina told ministers, diplomats and journalists at the Malagasy Institute of Applied Research (IMRA), which developed the beverage according to France 24. The Word Health Organisation representatives in the country did not attend the event.
The president of the African nation Covid Organics give results in seven days. The President gulped the drink whilst explaining how the drink works to the invited guests. “I will be the first to drink this today, in front of you, to show you that this product cures and does not kill,” he said.
The drink has not been tested internationally and its properties are not documented for study. The scientists in the country did not provide conclusive evidence as to whether the two people recovered from the drink, other medication or naturally through their immune systems.
Rajoelina brushed aside the allegations that the drink was not well tested and does not meet the standards of the World Health Organisation. “It is my primary duty to protect the Malagasy people,” he said.
The southern African nation has 121 covid-19 cases with no fatalities which migth be evident that Covid organics is working.
The US Centers for Disease Control (CDC), warned people and organisations using herbal remedies to cure covid-19 and said, “There is no scientific evidence that any of these alternative remedies can prevent or cure the illness caused by COVID-19. In fact, some of them may not be safe to consume.”
Herbal remedies are not usually subjected to clinical tests as most of them are discovered by traditional healers who do not conform to medical science norms.
