Is Brutus dead? Watch as Mlungisi stabs Brutus ‘ Themba Ndaba’ in the heart on The Queen

Uncle Brutus is, without a doubt, the reason why The Queen had a considerable following. Testament to his acting skills, when there was a rumour of him being fired from the show due to sexual harassment allegations, The Queen viewers threatened to stop watching the telenovela. Uncle Brutus, whose real name is Themba Ndaba, has his charming way of keeping Mzansi glued to their screens with his phenomenal acting skills. However, in the latest episode of The Queen, he was stabbed to death by his son Mlungisi.

The Queen storyline has been mainly centred on the war between the two hot-headed personalities Brutus and Mlungisi. Brutus and Mlungisi have had unending wars due to financial and respect disputes. Mlungisi accused his father of not respecting him enough and calling him names like he was still an infant. He feels his father favours his brothers Bhambatha, Cebo and Nkosiyabo more than him.

As their war became hotter and unbearable, Mlungisi decided to move out of the house so he could find peace away from home. His three brothers stopped him, not knowing they were deepening the anger in Mlungisi.

After Mlungisi was stopped from moving out of the family house, the Khoza family had dinner like other regular days, and the unexpected happened. Brutus was sitting next to  Mlungisi. While eating their dinner and chatting little did he know that he was consuming his last meal.

As the family was dining, Brutus made a joke that made the entire family laugh except for Mlungisi. As others were still laughing at the joke that Brutus had made, Mlungisi took a knife from the table and stabbed his father. The scene was unexpected, and the entire household couldn’t believe their eyes.

Majali, Brutus’ wife, was the only one who found the courage to help his husband. She was crying and trying to save his husband from the doors of death.

This episode left The Queen’s viewers in awe as they didn’t expect Mlungisi to commit such a scene. However, the question remains is Uncle Brutus dead? If he is dead, will Mlungisi be reported to the police? The Khoza family has a history of standing with each other in thick and thin. Is the family going to forgive Mlungisi for this bloody act? Let’s find more on the telenovela The Queen, which airs on Mzansi Magic every weekday at 2100hrs.
