Angela Sithole made headlines when Imbewu-The Seed cast her on their drama series to replace Buhle Samuels. Buhle was the original Zandile from the first season of the series. Still, she was let go due to unreconcilable differences between the actress and the production team and its writers. Some fans may not be familiar with Angela Sithole, but she is a force to be reckoned with in the entertainment industry, so let’s look at Angela Sithole and her business empire.

Angela Sithole grew up in Soweto, raised by a single mother after her father left when she was six tears old. Angela is of mixed race as her father is Italian and her mother is a Zulu. Growing up, she says she was bullied because of her skin colour. However, she did not let this get in the way of her dream to be an actress.

Angela got her big break in the acting industry when she landed a role in All about love a romance movie. The movie was one of the most talked-about productions in 2016, and she worked alongside other award-winning actresses like Katlego Danke, Zenande Mfenyana and Nomzamo Mbatha. The film was shown in other African countries like Kenya and Nigeria. Because of this role, she became a household name, and other opportunities began to rise.

She got her next role on television in Mina Nawe as Kedibone on SABC. The actress went on the public to say that she dreams to make it big and work with big productions like Generations and The Queen. She has already brushed shoulders with The Queen cast as she played Onica in the hit series. In the first season of e-kasi drama, Hustle saw her landing a role as a girl who left home to try and pursue a career as a singer. The production crew told her that she has a great voice, but she does not see herself singing professionally.

SABC 1 soapie Judas Kiss saw her making her mark in the industry when she played the part of the main cast as Judas’ wife. Her stellar performance in the series as the scorned wife won the hearts of many South Africans. Many fans talk about her role on Imbewu: The Seed before she even makes her debut appearance.
