Nerupa plays the role of a business lady married to a highly respected man in society Pranav Naidoo. Quite a heart-rending moment when Pranav’s character dies, leaving Nerupa a devasted widow. Onset, she is blessed with two beautiful daughters; one of them is not Pranav’s daughter. Nerupa has been trying to keep the secret under the cover, but her past is hunting her down. However, one of her daughters, Mira, already knows the truth, and she is waiting for the right time to spill the beans.

Naidoo is jake of all trades. She multitasks as an entertainer, businesswoman and lecturer. The actress we all love to hate is a genius. She holds a  B Paed degree in Drama, English, and Education from the Unversity of Durban, Westville. Later on, she studied communications at UNISA and Public relations at Damelin. Naidoo is also an Engish teacher and a lecturer of acting classes and television presenting courses.
