‘I knew you were right for my boy’, AKA’s father Tony Forbes pens a sweet note to Nadia Nakai
Tony Forbes, AKA‘s father, posted a loving tribute to the rapper‘s girlfriend, Nadia Nakai, on Instagram following AKA‘s passing last month.
Nadia has been experiencing an outpouring of love, comfort, and support from the public following the tragic death of her boyfriend, AKA, who was shot outside a restaurant in Durban.
Tony, AKA‘s father, and his family have welcomed Nadia into their grief, including her in the late rapper‘s memorial and funeral service, despite not being married to AKA. Tony expressed his gratitude to Nadia with a heartfelt note, thanking her for loving his son so wholeheartedly.
Taking to Instagram, Tony Forbes wrote:
“@nadianakai Nadia, from the first day that I met you, I knew you were right for my boy. See that smile on his dial! Thank you [for] loving him, he loved you truly. We love you. ❤️.”
Nadia also responded to the post by saying:
