Sodi’s Bryanston home, which was valued at R85 million in 2020, was reported to be worth a staggering R100 million in November 2022. The CEO of Blackhead Consulting is said to have purchased this mansion in 2014 for R40 million and subsequently invested in high-cost renovations.
The luxurious property features five bedroom suites and two master guest bedrooms, all furnished with high-end designer furniture. It also includes seven spacious bathrooms, a kitchen equipped with its own cocktail bar, and a state-of-the-art private wine cellar. For entertainment, the mansion boasts a 12-seater cinema, a games room, multiple indoor pools, and an outdoor infinity pool.

However, Sodi’s life is not all glamour and luxury. He has been linked to several corruption scandals, including a failed R100 million water project in the Free State. He is also reportedly implicated in a cholera outbreak in Hammanskraal, Tshwane, which had claimed 20 lives by May 2023.
In the same month, Sodi appeared before the Bloemfontein magistrate’s court, facing more than 70 counts of corruption, fraud, money laundering and asbestos contraventions relating to a R255 million Free State contract.
