According to Sunday World, Gauteng businessman Leeroy Sidambe purchased a car for his then–wife Mary Jane as a gift for their anniversary. However, following their separation, he took the car back and gave it to his new partner Mihlali Ndamase.
Reports surfaced that the former spouse of Leeroy had opened a legal case against him after witnessing Mihlali showing off the vehicle he had bought.
The respondent is to return the Range Rover Autobiography (2020 Model) to the applicant within two days from the date of this order,” reads the order.

The court mandated Leeroy, the businessman, to pay for various expenses. This includes the maintenance and repairs of the vehicle and the other Range Rover Sport, the balloon payment of the Range Rover Sport to the BMW financial services within 30 days of the order, R156 000 a month towards the maintenance of his wife and children on the first day of every month, an undisclosed amount for his wife’s and children’s medical aid, as well as rates and services, water, and electricity in the rented property occupied by his wife and children.
Furthermore, he must pay a deposit for the rented property and cover the R1.7–million legal costs his wife incurred during the litigation.
The court order reads:
“The respondent shall pay to the applicant a contribution towards her legal costs in the sum of R1 716 083 within 14 days from the date of this order, payable into the trust account of the applicant’s attorney,”
“As stated elsewhere in this affidavit, the Range Rover Autobiography that was given to me as a gift was snatched away from me by (name withheld) and given to his girlfriend to use. He actually vindictively took my car away from me and gave it to Ndamase to use, and I do not have a vehicle to use,”
