Finance Minister Tito Mboweni showed off his weed plants in a field that he is growing legally. South Africa legalised the growing of cannabis for medicinal purposes.
The post was met with funny comments from his Twitter followers:
“Oh now i see the crappy meals and lucky stars ore noo it’s not you but the weed doing all that”
“What was happening on that day were you on the farm harvesting or testing if it’s ready”

” If you substitute marijuana for tobacco and alcohol, you’ll add eight to 24 years to your life”
“It make sense now,all the food you cooked this day…I was wondering what is wrong with our minister”
“We need more research work into this miraculous plant. Besides smoking, there should be other wonderful things from it”

In other news Tito Mboweni is being accused of being an Uncle Tom for supporting Clicks during their debacle with opposition party Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF).
The Finance Minister is against the EFF’s call for its supporters to protest over the Clicks’ oversight in depicting African women’s hair as dry and damaged, frizzy and dull whilst labeling white women’s hair as straight and normal.
