How does Busisiwe Xaba career start?

It all begins at a tender age when she entertained her big family just before their night prayers. This sees her presenting on the kids show Nature Excursion when she was only a teenager. She studies Drama as her high school major at the National School of the Arts in Braamfontein. Proving she has a knack for the Arts, she graduates full colours in Music Theatre. She further decorates her milestone with the Best Actress award in her grade year of 2010.

Which Television shows have Busisiwe Xaba featured in?

In a bid to perfect her flair, the actress enrols at The University of Johannesburg to study Audio-Visual Communication. Due to financial constraints, she failed to complete her studies and decided to dive into the entertainment industry, 2012 Busisiwe auditions for a presenting gig on Top Billing. Here she serves her flawless French fluency, but this journey is short-lived. She joins SuperSport to work as a video editor through Vision View Productions.

Trying her charm in the acting panorama, she lands the recurring role of Dimi on the drama series Diamond City. After bagging this role, Busisiwe scores another acting gig on the longest-running soapie Generations: The Legacy. She plays Palesa, a character that is parallel to her offset persona. Time reveals how accepting this role is a bad idea.

Roles played on TV can have a significant impact on an actor’s personal life. Though unintended, Palesa’s character leads to the demise of Busisiwe’s seat on the Generations cast. Although it is not publicised, an industry informant has to comment on the actress’s egress from the show. “She is a youth pastor in real life, and her on-screen role Pales a is in becoming a prostitute. She didn’t like it and demanded changes. So the producers canned her role.”

I have had those moments in my own life, and I have seen it in the countless lives of others I meet,” Busisiwe says.
