Gospel Musician Benjamin Dube was treated harshly on Twitter yesterday after he posted a picture of himself and three other companions, with the caption ‘threesome.’
Dube, who appeared to be on a road trip saw his post flooded with comments and retweets.
Tweeps knowingly trolled Dube, insinuating that he was going to have a threesome, in sexual terms, with his two companions.
Here are some of the interesting comments on Dube’s post:
One of his followers brought in the Malusi Gigaba topic, suggesting that the ‘porn addicted’ former Minister was searching for Dube’s threesome on adult entertainment sites.
“Gigaba searching for Benjamin threesome”
Another commented, “Imagine being so devoted to God you don’t know the meaning of a ‘threesome.”
“Perhaps by the threesome, he means Shadreck, Misheck, and Abednego not the one you have in mind.”
“3 some man of God pls go the deeper man of God go deeper”
“What if he hasn’t made a mistake and he really means what he means”
“There’s nothing wrong with the caption cause it has a different meaning”
“He means exactly what you think he means”
“I am so wrong for thinking what I’m thinking. May God forgive me!”
“I was always suspicious watching with amusement from that divorce process while I was minding my business”
“I’m just gonna convince myself, that this tweet doesn’t mean what I think it means, for the sake of peace.”
The celebrated gospel artist and pastor, later on, published an advert of his album, prompting suggestions that his threesome blunder could actually be a publicity stunt.
Dube has been trending on Twitter since yesterday when he made the post.
Posting controversial Tweets is an old game that some South African artists use to promote their music. Aka is known to pick fights whenever he is about to release new music.
