AKA’s new album ‘Bhovamania’ doomed
The super mega, AKA dropped his latest album, ‘Bhovamania’ on the 6th of November and it was met with mixed feelings. His fans were heavily dissapointed by the excessive use of autotune. Bhovamania was supposed to ease AKA’s transformation from being a rapper into a full fledged pop star, but it went below expectations. His inclusion of a mufasa song rekindled his enermity with Cassper Nyovest which resulted in a comparison of their albums. Cassper Nyovest‘s ‘Any Minute Now’ clearly is a much better Album as compared to Bhovamania.

Bhovamania was relegated to Extended Play (EP) status within 2 weeks of its release. It is split into three trains of thought namely; mind, heart and soul. AKA lacked the freshness he reflected in other albums, he therefore resorted to Wrestling for inspiration. The supposed EP is inspired by the pay per view global wrestling event, ‘Wrestlemania’. AKA roped in strenuous samples of Afro pop, maskandi , Electro Dance Music and a dominant electrical guitar resembling hard rock.
