Coleslaw Salad

This recipe uses 5 ingredients only and it tastes perfect. It is easy to make, and it is creamy and refreshing. It is even easy to make in advance.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp salt optional
  • 1 small head or green cabbage shredded
  • 2-3 large carrots

Method
 

  1. Cut the cabbage into quarters and cut the core out.
  2. Slice the cabbage quarters into thin shreds. You can either use a food processor or hand shred using a knife.
  3. In a small mixing bowl whisk together the mayonnaise and vinegar.
  4. Place the shredded cabbage in a large bowl then pour the dressing mixture over.
  5. Toss gently to combine, making sure all the shreds are coated evenly.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

You can serve coleslaw with a burger , it works well as a light and refreshing side dish
