Mmabatho Mogomotsi as Moipone in Muvhango
Troubles for Moipone started when she witnessed Tenda murder his nephew Hulisani in cold blood while she was attending a party for James. Tenda did not want any loose ends to his crime, and he hurt Moipone to the extent that she suffered a comma for several weeks. After she woke up from her near-death experience, Moipone could not let the crime go unpunished, so she sought revenge on Tenda and his family by stealing their baby and exchanging him for a dead one in hospital.
Tenda grieved the loss of a child that was not his, but his wife Mpho was particular that the dead child was not hers, and she held on to hope of finding her real baby. The truth finally came to light that Moipone had kidnapped the child and the fight between the two continued, which led Moipone to confess and get arrested.
While serving her sentence in prison, Moipone held onto hope that Tenda would get what was coming to him, and she will sing like a canary to her lawyer. However, Moipone receives a visit from Khumo, one of her baby daddy’s many children, instead of a lawyer. Upon a small verbal exchange, Khumo agrees that Moipone is a loose end; therefore, for her to carry out her vengeance, she has to kill her. Moipone was suffocated to death before she could revenge Tenda or spill all the secrets she knew about him.
