On his Instagram, Sicelo ‘Seekay” Buthelezi teased his new music. He is well-known for playing Teddy on Gomora and has more than a million Instagram followers. He claimed in the video that he was testing out some sounds, which suggests that he is on to something. As he sang to fans in his angelic voice, he was undoubtedly in the kitchen, creating something delicious.
He claims to be equally skilled at music and acting. His debut song, Harare, a fusion of Amapiano, Afrobeats, and Chimurenga music, was just released. In 2021, he made his debut in the music industry by appearing with Cyfred, an Amapiano musician, in the hit song Snake Park. The piece, which the 23-year-old describes as a fusion of Amapiano, Afrobeats, and Chimurenga music, was created in collaboration with international producer Tony Duardo. The actor is best known for his role as Teddy on Mzansi Magic’s Gomora.
“Thomas Mapfumo and Oliver Mtukudzi created and popularized the Zimbabwean music genre called chimurenga. The song emphasized that music and love are universal languages and will make your woman dance and fall in love. He added that the song is spontaneous and was motivated by how the beat made him feel. While Gomora’s Teddy’s new music release dates have not been announced yet, he is still working on his craft; it will undoubtedly be a hit like his previous work, as evidenced by what can be seen on his Instagram.
Although playing Teddy on Gomora has been the high point of his acting career, Seekay acknowledges that he and his on-screen persona have different moral standards. “First, believe in yourself.” He has said that although he and Teddy share some similarities, they are very different. Both of them find humour amusing and enjoy telling jokes, but Teddy is younger and less ambitious. Seekay likes to daydream. He is confident that he can accomplish anything he puts his mind to. He is highly passionate about the arts and loves what he does. The entertainer says that even though fame has given him more opportunities, he is careful not to let it get to him. Only three years have passed since he began doing this professionally. He claims that he cannot go anywhere without someone immediately recognizing him. He highly appreciates this and takes it as a sign that he is on the right track. Once, Seekay said: “I’ve discovered that some people don’t wish me well and some do because they are constantly observing me. I must be conscious of my actions and words while staying true to who I am. Additionally, I never want to let fame consume me.”
