Girls with SUVs, Gomora actress Tshiamo ‘Lerato Mokoka’s expensive car inspires Mzansi
Lerato Mokoka plays the role of Tshiamo Molefe on Gomora. Tshiamo is the daughter of Pretty Molefe and Sbonga, also a grandchild of Mamsonto. Known for minding her business and at times slipping tongue to divulge sensitive secrets, she is cousins to Langa and Buhle, her rich cousins who came to Gomora after losing everything. Copying up with cocky and rude Buhle (Ama Qamata) wasn’t easy for Tshiamo as she had to go the extra mile to accommodate and tolerate her cousin.
Over the Gomora storyline, Tshiamo has experienced a lot of physical and emotional abuse; she witnessed her grandmother arrested for Mbongeni Ndaba’s murder and had to bury her closest cousin Langa who died in an inferno. Seeing her mother fighting with her aunt Thathi and father Sbonga being ridiculed for co-habiting with Pretty at Mamsonto’s place was enough to break Tshiamo.
