Man Tawa signs for FC Platinum – Wadiwa Wepamoyo main actor Man Tawa, a role played by Everson Chieza in the trending Zimbabwean drama series has signed for FC Platinum.
Man Tawa whose dream is to sign for English Premier League outfit Manchester United, took a real stride in real life as he signed up for the local premier soccer league reigning champions Zvishavane based FC Platinum as their brand ambassador.
FC Platinum who are currently under the stewardship of Dutch manager Pieter de Jongh represents Zimbabwe on the continent at CAF Confederation Cup gives Man Tawa an opportunity to represent them on a regional level.
FC Platinum public relations officer Chido Chizondo revealed that the chose the Wadiwa Wepamoyo star as the face of their campaigns as their club related to his storyline on one’s football journey.
“Through Wadiwa Wepamoyo, we are able to live through the character Man Tawa as to give people hope against the odds. The world looks like it has come to a standstill but this particular story allows us to survive through the dark nights,” said Chizondo.
“As a team, we’re hoping the association allows Zimbabwe and Africa to dream through the things they can relate to – that is a ghetto story.”
She said they will work closely with Mana Tawa for the coming season.
Man Tawa fancies FC Platinum deal
“Man Tawa will assist us with our social media marketing among other activities for a year.”
Man Tawa said he is living his dream and welcomed the opportunity to represent one of the most prestigious teams in Zimbabwean football fraternity.
“Honestly it’s like I’m living in a dream and I can’t seem to wake up. The recognition is beyond my expectations and I’m very grateful to God.
