Live performances are the order of the day during the festive season especially if one of Mzansi’s favourite DJ is onstage. While in his element, dishing out his flair to his fans, one lady decides to try her luck in DJ Tira‘s pants. Caught on camera, the renowned DJ takes to Instagram to send a warning to rowdy fans.
Fan grabs DJ Tira’s crotch and he is not happy about it
The video causes a stir with men pointing out how bad the situation would be if a male fan had done the same to a female artist. Is it news though? Recently Makhadzi gets the lashes from fans when she affectionately rubs a male fan’s crotch on stage. With all the talk about Gender Based Violence and Sexual Harrassment, this is a rather sensitive issue.
Instagram turns into a circus
Masses had a lot to say with some expressing rage and others making comics out of the whole ordeal. Gugu Khathi, DJ Tira’s wife is the first to comment. “Lalela it’s December sengenza nomayini,” she says. This loosely translates to, “Listen, its December I can do whatever I want.” Nelisiwe Sibiya also gives her two cents and makes fun of the situation. “Yazin neh Aish I must try this when someone is performing. I just want to see something,” she posts.
