Makhadzi started off in 2010 as a street dancer in a musical group named Makirikiri and with time she ventured into singing. As she was recording her music one time, a studio owner spotted her talent and gave her the platform to develop her music in his studio.
In 2012, Makhadzi Muimbi released Zwigevhenga which became a hit song and she has six recorded albums as of 2020. Muvhango was released in 2012, Ndo Tshiyani (2013), Litshani U Tsala Murahu (2014), Muhwalo Uya Ndemela (2015) Yo Shoma (2016), Shumela Venda (2017).

Recently, Makhadzi announced her relationship to the Award-winning musician, Master KG after a lot of speculation on whether the two were dating. The lovebirds had managed to keep their love affair under wraps for almost three years until Makhadzi Muimbi posted a birthday message which had tongues rolling on social media.
“We waited for the right time to confirm the relationship because we knew that timing was everything. We have now learned to have our careers while also juggling the relationship at the same time. But it’s not easy because music still comes first for all of us,” Master KG said.
No children are yet in the picture for Makhadzi Muimbi and her boyfriend Master KG who is the first she has ever been public with as they are both at the peak of their careers.
Their romantic relationship, blossoming as it is, has not reached a stage where the two are going to get married anytime soon as revealed by Master KG in an interview.
