L’vovo Derrango Refuses To Release New Music Until We Fix South Africa First
Musician L’vovo Derrango has said he will not release new music until South Africans fix the country first.
The talented musician, known for his 2007 hit song Bayangsukela, is at the forefront of the Put South Africa First Movement.
L’vovo revealed that he has recorded a number of songs with so many South African artists but is not releasing any of the material yet.
He said the state of the country is more important than releasing new music. L’vovo added that he will not be releasing any new music as a stand against what is happening in South Africa.
Taking to social media almost on the daily, L’vovo pleads with the people of Mzansi to wake up and start taking steps of change.
When asked by a fan on social media why he is not releasing any new music, L’vovo said, “I can’t sing when my spirits aren’t high! I have hits with so many SA artists I’ve recorded and kept. I won’t release them. We need to fix this country first or else it will be gone for good!”

One of the issues he has spoken out against is human trafficking. He said, “Human Trafficking is getting closer to our doorsteps! We thought Covid wouldn’t get us. Like any other thing u c happening 2 others, somehow our brains always tell us ‘it won’t happen to me’. Be careful of this mindset. Let’s fight right nw n eradicate it. 1 child gone is one too many.”
