Zimbabwe Finance Minister Mthuli Ncube has told Zimbabwean citizens experiencing transport problems to walk long distances to reduce the Covid-19 infections.

Mthuli Ncube was speaking during today’s cabinet briefing, “You must understand why the government implemented these transport restrictions. If we open it up to private transport we will be increasing Covid-19 infections. Every behaviour designed to prevent Covid-19 has a cost. So iff you walk home you will be reducing the spread of Covid-19. Its a not  a good idea to open spaces when the local transmissions are going up.”
