Like many other actors in the industry, Sibongokuhle Nkosi does not rely on acting alone to make ends meet, and she has more income streams than her acting career. Many South African started to know her when she was introduced as Thembinator in the medical drama series when the second season started. However, other people have no idea that she was already an entertainer before her debut acting role but doing something else entirely.
Sibongokuhle Nkosi as Thembinator in Durban Gen
In Durban Gen, Sibongokuhle Nkosi takes on the role of a hot and young paramedic who joined the crew after Bab Gumede left his job. At first, she turned many male heads, and everyone was running around and trying to get her attention, especially Macgyver. When she came out and told them that she was seeing another person, she crushed his heart, but that relationship did not work, and she has been in two unfortunate relationships since that time.
Recently she was seeing Calvin together with Dr Jack till Jack broke up with Calvin because she could not stand sharing him. Calvin saw it good to dump Thembi to change Jack’s heart and be exclusive with her, but that plan backfired when Jack laughed at him. Thembi has been left to cry over yet another failed relationship with another workmate.
Sibongokuhle as a model
Before her debut in Durban Gen, she focused more on modelling as she entered the Miss KZN Queen competition. She was one of the finalists but did not win the crown, unfortunately. Nkosi also takes advantage of her beautiful dark skin and competes to be a brand ambassador for positions as a skinfluencer for companies like Nivea, and with skin like hers, she is bagging the big deals.
Nkosi is also a musician.
Sibongokuhle stated on her Instagram bio that she is a musician, and she does not have any music released. She was part of several musical plays while still studying for her degree, like Music in the air. She worked with the late actor Mncedisi Shabangu as the director of that play. At the age of 23, she is making big moves in the industry and is on the road to becoming a millionaire.
