Watch; Uzalo actors’ dance moves impress Mzansi featuring Nkunzi, MaDongwe and MaMadlala.
Uzalo cast is famous for pulling strings both onscreen and behind the screens; the Durbanites possess a rhythmic flair rarely found in any other part of South Africa. Lead actors Nkunzi (Masoja Msiza), Lily Dongwe, Nonka, MaDongwe and her onscreen gossip mate MaMadlala took some time behind the scene and served a combination of serious and funny dance moves.

Contrary to his serious Nkunzi onscreen character, actor Masoja Msiza is hilarious; he recently gave out breakdance moves and wowed Mzansi. Dancing to TKZee’s Fella Kae (feat. Geuzin), Nkunzi had to dig deep and pull out youthful moves from his locker.

On Uzalo, Nkunzi is a businessman, the godfather of KwaMashu, a reformed gangster and a highly respected figure. He is the father to Sbonelo and Pastor Gwala, the two brothers who hate each other, a charming character who is good with women. Over the Uzalo storyline, Nkunzi got expelled from the car hijacking society after failing to control his wife MaNgcobo’s actions.
MaDongwe and MaMadlala dance moves
Complementing each other off the Uzalo screens, two drama queens and gossip mongers MaDongwe and partner in crime MaMadlala displays traditional Zulu moves and impress fans. Accompanied by Lily Dongwe and Nonkanyiso Xaba characters on Uzalo, the group took time after shooting to give fans a glimpse of their dancing talents.
Mzansi reacts to MaMadlala smooth moves, whom they praised for understanding the task.
“Like always, we can count on Nonka to lower the group’s average, the idea is not to sweat, and MaMadlala executed it perfectly.”
On Uzalo, MaDongwe and her partner in crime, MaMadlala, dedicated board members of KwaMashu Kingdom Church, have a gossip weakness. MaDongwe nearly got married to former pastor Mr Mbatha, a relationship they failed to rekindle while MaMadlala has an eye for young men. She preys after financially desperate young boys to date them.
